Junior Golf Queensland
Junior Golf Queensland (JGQ) has been established by Golf Australia to provide the sport of junior golf with a more coordinated and structured approach to junior development and participation across the state.
By establishing a variety of key networks and providing them with relevant information regarding junior golf, JGQ is able to assist in the development and establishment of healthy vibrant junior programs across Queensland.
JGQ also offers junior golfers a unique opportunity to access and experience a variety of junior events, camps and so much more across Queensland.

The membership year is from 1 January to 31 December and there are no pro-rata fees for new members if they decide to join during the year. The cost for yearly membership is $66.

Greg Norman Junior Masters
2022 Greg Norman Junior Masters
Dates: 12-15 December, 2022
Venue: Palmer Gold Coast
Qualifying process
Junior Golf Queensland members must qualify to receive an invitation to compete in the tournament by winning the best gross in their age division at an open qualifying event held across the state throughout the year. Juniors wanting to qualify must be a financial member of Junior Golf Queensland prior to playing in any qualifying event across the state.
Note:
Juniors will participate in the age division as determined by their age as of first day of play at the Masters, starting on Monday 12th December 2022.
An Open qualifier is an event whereby any junior who is a member of Junior Golf Queensland under 18 years of age as of the first day of play 12/12/22, regardless of where they live, are eligible to qualify for the Greg Norman Junior Masters by winning the gross event in his/her age division.

JGQ District Points Challenge
The JGQ District Points Challenge is a series of events (five per District) which have been nominated by participating Districts of Golf Australia - Queensland. The District Points Challenge Series is open to junior players who are a paid member of a club in that district and a financial member of Junior Golf Queensland.
Points are allocated on Nett scores according to where participants finish in the field after each event. After each series has been completed, an overall winner and runner-up in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions for 9 and 18 holes will be determined. Click here for further details.
The overall 18 hole boy and girl winners of each District Points Challenge Series will receive an invitation to compete at the JGQ State Points Challenge Finals held at the Greg Norman Junior Masters. Click here for further details.
